This is a very interesting museum to visit and the planes outside are amazing to look at, even though u have to be escorted out to see them it was nice since ur escort gives u a mini tour of the planes and has interesting info to offer.
Fantastic museum! Lots of history and information on air crafts through the years.
As an aviation enthusiast and aspiring pilot myself, I wish I could spend everyday here! The staff are extremely nice and the exhibits take you through the entire history of aviation. There is even an exhibit where you can walk among retired military aircraft!
Brilliant. Heaps of planes and spoke to some retired pilots and mechanics. All very friendly knowledgeable people.
Has terrific displays. They have plenty of volunteers and veterans that told us stories and pointed out significant objects in the displays. The weather cooperated and we were given a guided tour of the planes and equipment outside. We were there a couple of hours and I still didn't see everything.
I really recommend this place.
I loved this place because it is so interesting and informative. The people are so kind and knowledgeable because they served in the wars.
We brought my husbands brother and wife .He is retired from the Navy . We really enjoyed the tour. The gentleman who had taken us through was very helpful and full of history great place to see
This museum is a gem! It contains a surprisingly large collection of aviation artifacts, including photos, uniforms, and print materials. The docents (many retired military) are very knowledgeable about the aircraft, including the engineering aspects. It is a fantastic place for children and adults alike.
My family enjoyed the museum. Our young children enjoyed looking around at all the model planes. The guided tour was very informational and kept the attention of my children. I suggest going during cooler temperatures, so you can really enjoy the guided tour.
After the original airport was replaced and upgraded, the city helped restore a museum and aircraft tours of restored planes and donated WW2 from local family's collections. living history.
Such an amazing place!! Tons of History and the planes outside are super cool!!
Loved every thing about this place!
They have some nice displays. All of the volunteers were very nice and knowledgeable on what was there.
